A large apartment complex across from the Forest Hills Orange Line station in Jamaica Plain won a key city approval Thursday.
The Boston Planning & Development Agency approved the Residences at Forest Hills, which would put 250 units in three buildings at the corner of Washington Street and the Arborway, on the site of a two-acre parking lot used by commuters. It is one of several large apartment developments planned or under construction along Washington Street in Jamaica Plain.
