A prime site in Dorchester has traded hands, raising speculation that a major project is in store for near the JFK/UMass Red Line stop.
Beacon Capital Partners, an investment group whose Boston assets include the One Beacon Street commercial skyscraper, paid nearly $73.73 million for a 13.6-acre site bounded roughly by Morrissey Boulevard, Mt. Vernon Street, and Columbia Point.
