Quincy Center T station gets $4.27m grant for upgrades

quincy-centerThe Quincy Center MBTA station will benefit from a $4.27 million federal grant to help pay for a new bus terminal and make multimodal enhancements.

The grant will be a “first step” toward developing a new bus terminal and overhaul of the entire MBTA station, according to the grant announcement by US Senators Elizabeth Warren and Edward Markey, and US Representative Stephen Lynch.
