South Boston real estate developers Sean Morrissey and Michael Forde have proposed a 21-unit residential property at 317 Belgrade Ave. in Roslindale. Of the units, three will be designated affordable, “in what will hopefully be a gateway project for the Belgrade Avenue neighborhood,” according to documentation filed with the Boston Planning & Development Agency.
The 32,224-square-foot building is proposed to include 5,980 square feet of ground-floor retail space and three levels of residential units. The project is located near the Bellevue stop on the MBTA Commuter Rail Needham Line.
The developers have proposed demolishing an existing one-story commercial building, which was formerly occupied by a dry cleaner and retail store, to develop the 317 Belgrade Ave. project.
